Mr. Chunyi Long's Original Heavy-Color Chinese Painting
龙纯一先生创作的重彩中国画
十
多年来，龙纯一先生一直在努力研究探索如何把西方的绘画理念和技巧融入中国画的绘画之中，让绝大多数的外国人也能看懂中国画，让中国画能走出国门融入世
界。他开始从油画入手，画了几十幅含有中国元素的油画。近日他回国走访和结识了一些画家。中国武汉的著名画家王合多和杨耀洲等人搞了一个“重彩沙龙”画家
群体，他们的理念和龙纯一先生的不谋而合，并得以启发。他尝试着用他的画法在宣纸上作画，达到了意想不到中西融合的效果，他的画也从此找到了自己的归宿-重彩中国画。这次展出的正是他最新创作的重彩中国画。
龙
纯一先生，老三届高中生，七七年以优异的成绩但被年龄歧视扩招到地方专科大学，八十年代初留学美国，获计算机科学硕士学位。他兴趣爱好广泛，在音乐，体
育，电器，烹调，摄影和绘画等方面都颇有小成就。他酷爱美术，文化大革命期间，从学生到下农村到当工人，他写大字刷标语，办小报刻钢板，出墙报画刊图，让
他的美术才华得以充分地发挥，曾经以工人画家的身份去外省参观学习。十多年前，他放弃了计算机软件工程师的工作，重新拾起了画笔，潜心学习研究绘画。他欣
赏著名美籍华人画家王鑫生的油画作品，经常光顾王鑫生画室观摩学习。他曾两次在美国休斯敦办个人画展。他曾为2008北京奥运会创作了“金童玉女”的油画，并在《美南新闻》报纸上发表。

It has been over
ten years passed, Mr.
Chunyi Long been trying to study
and explore how the concepts and techniques of Western
painting can be integrated into
Chinese
paintings, to let the vast majority of foreigners can understand
Chinese painting, so that
the Chinese
paintings can go
out of the
country into the world. He began to
paint
from oil painting, drew dozens of pieces
containing Chinese elements. Recently he
went to
China to visit and get to know some of
the artists. Wuhan, China's
famous artists Heduo Wang
and Yaozhou
Yang who engage in a
"Heavy-Color Salon" artist groups,
their ideas and Mr. Chunyi Long's coincide, and be
inspired. He tried to use his way to
paint on rice paper, Western integration achieved
unexpected results, but also from his paintings found their
destination – heavy-color
Chinese painting. This exhibition is his latest
creations of
heavy-color Chinese
paintings.
Mr. Chunyi Long was LaoSanjie high school student, in 1977 with honors but was age discrimination to the local college enrollment, in the early 1980s to study in the United States, received a master's degree in computer science. His has many hobbies including music, sports, electronics, cooking, photography and painting. He loves art, during the Cultural Revolution, from the student to the countryside to the factory worker, his artistic talent had been into full play, he was sent to other provinces as an artist to tour and study. Over ten years ago, he gave up the job of computer software engineer to re-pick up the paintbrush, painstaking study and research. He admired the famous Chinese-American artist Xinsheng Wang's art works, often visits his studio. He has twice run art exhibition in Houston. He has created “Golden Boy and Jade Girl” oil painting for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, it was published on the "Southern Chinese News" newspaper.
